Day 33: Royal Hut to end of Richmond track free camp

34.5km, 11 hours

I didn't write a diary for today and I should have because it was pretty unreal. I didn't write one because i got to the end of the 11 hour day and a storm was coming so it was a mad rush to set up tent and cook dinner before it came across. Then i just laid on my mattress eating my mi goreng, utterly content and happy with the day.

It was just fun. It involved so many long breaks because the views were just incredible at every saddle and Ridgeline we summited. And we reached Stag Saddle the highest point on the TA at 1925m. That caused for a good hour break in the freezing cold with a hot coffee and snacks.

Ill let the photos do the talking for this day until I have time to come back and relive and write it. From what i do remember it was nothing but smiles, laughs and the funniest conversations and challenges with our crew. I walked mostly with the boys and just laughed my little heart out. They made the 33km day seem like a walk in the park with friends.
